SPRAWL zero Bosses: Seraph, Colossus, Tsuchigumo and Silas
Before launch, MAETH said SPRAWL zero “won’t have many bosses in the traditional videogame-ey sense”. Instead there are mini-boss encounters with enemies that are tough where they first appear and later show up as regular foes. The same answer promised that “bosses will always have at least one trick that can counter them, be it by using the gravity gloves, bullet time, one of your other abilities, or a few in combination.” Zhain Gaming’s “All Bosses + Ending” video (7 Sep 2026) lists four fights in this order.
Seraph (Buried)
The Seraph is the Junta gunship at the end of level 2. Dialogue tells you to run rather than fight, and killing one earns Seraph Down (“Defeat a helicopter in Buried”, 2.5%).
- Counter: the Gravity Shield. Reflecting its bullets back is the reliable kill, and a MAETH developer confirmed on the Steam forum that this is intended.
- Catch: in the full game you do not have the Shield yet in Buried; it arrives in the next level. The demo gave it early. For the achievement on a first run you need another method, or come back on New Game Plus with the Shield.
Colossus
Flexin85’s review describes “a section where you’re completely disarmed and your abilities are disabled and you have to escape this Colossus that is hunting you down Nemesis style.” So this one is a chase rather than a damage race: keep moving and use the environment. Which level it is in has not been published, and we do not guess.
Tsuchigumo Multi-Ped Tank
A multi-legged tank; tsuchigumo means “earth spider” in Japanese. Its level and attack pattern have not been written up yet. We will add them once a source documents them.
Silas (final boss, Amet)
Silas leads the Imago Dei and is the target of FIVE’s directive from the first briefing. He also disables your augments for part of God’s Light. The final fight comes at the end of Amet, the eleventh level.
- A Steam forum thread titled “Final Boss” singles out three moves that feel hard to read: a boulder throw, a laser that slices the ground, and a grab. The poster’s best answer was Rushdown’s invulnerable charge, which costs a lot of adrenaline and leaves you open afterwards.
- The hidden achievement Boulder Punch Finale (0.4%) is named after this fight. Its condition is hidden; the name suggests punching a boulder back, but that is our reading of the name, not a documented trigger.
- Reception is mixed. Under The Mayo called it the weakest part of the game, and Worth A Buy enjoyed the “kind of puzzly boss fights”. One player reported sending Silas “flying into the roof” with the gloves, which looks like a physics bug.
