EngineCustom Unreal Engine 5, no Nanite or Lumen, baked lightingDeveloper reply, Steam forum

The low requirements come from how the game is built. MAETH developer Markie Music explained on the Steam forum that it runs on "a custom UE5 with all of the bells and whistles ripped out": no Nanite, no Lumen, baked lighting, and MSAA in place of temporal anti-aliasing, for a clean image like Source-engine games had. More on the look in the engine guide.

Steam Deck

Only 4 GB of storage, but 16 GB of RAM even at minimum. Windows only on Steam; Steam Deck is rated Playable. Valve's Playable rating flags two things: controller glyphs that do not match the Deck and some text that is too small to read. The Steam Deck guide collects the settings and the launch crash fix players have found.
